FAQ
Is there an option to install a specific version of CDH4 onto a new host
using Cloudera Manager? We have a local yum repo with multiple versions of
CDH4 packages.

    Yes, go to the Hosts tab -> Add Host -> add the hostname -> select CDH
    version. See attached pic for options that you have with CM4.1.x.

    I was wondering why when adding a new host to an existing cluster that
    there are no red flags for installing a different version or it doesn't
    automatically set the default version to match. Does this make sense?
