FAQ
Hi Romain,

There is n error as such but when I click the file browse it is showing
connecting but it goes on rotating endlessly and nothing coming out.

More then that when I try to design and run the mapreduce job and try to
add the file nothing is showing in the window.

Saurav

Thanks so I commented about the error in the other thread.

I am seeing some errors that means that the DB is not synced properly.
However, could you describe the error that you are seeing on FileBrowser

    Hostname, DNS & networking administration is a common topic. You can find
    more in any sysadmin book or online guide.

    Saurav, CM helps you verify that you have a correct setup. Go to
    CM->Hosts->Host Inspector->Wait for it to finish->View results.

    Hi,

    I am facing some issue in Beewax/Hue set up I have
    inastalled Coluera Manager 4.5 in Cent os 6.3.All the componets are in good
    state and runnung. But when I an going to the
    http://localhost:8888/beeswax/ I am facing some error;

    1. I have created admin as my first user, but I don,t have
    it as my hadoop user so I created the other user saurav which is the hadoop
    user and sudo user, but I am not able to login and enter as saurav in my
    same session I have to restart the hue1. to login.

    2. I am not able to go to hue shell as in admin session it
    is saying "It is not the hadoop user" and in saurav "You dont have the
    permission to see it".
    3. In any case I am not able to Browse the HDFS.

    I have try to delete and added it again but no success it
    is showing the same things.

    regards,

    Saurav
