    Thanks Sandy,

    I tried running this command 'mvn -U install' it updated the local cache
    for the first time I run this command but the error was not resolved.

    Can you please suggest me how to remove the tool.jar from the local because
    I have installed this jar manually.

    Thanks,

    Hi Sandy,

    For more information here I am giving my pom.xml

    <artifactId>maven-compiler-plugin</artifactId>
    <version>2.3.1</version>
    <configuration>
    <source>1.6</source>
    <target>1.6</target>
    </configuration>
    </plugin>
    </plugins>
    </build>

    <repositories>
    <repository>
    <id>maven-hadoop</id>
    <name>Hadoop Releases</name>
    <url>https://repository.cloudera.com/content/repositories/releases/
    </url>
    </repository>
    <repository>
    <id>cloudera-repos</id>
    <name>Cloudera Repos</name>
    <url>https://repository.cloudera.com/artifactory/cloudera-repos/</url>
    </repository>
    </repositories>
    </project>

    Going through the error message message it looks like the maven is
    searching tool.jar in the cloudera repository.
