FAQ
Hi All,

Currently I have a thrift server running in the cluster and client using
thrift accesses hbase table. It works great.

Now I want to add access control to hbase table.

I see that hbase shell has command like grant/revoke.

But, how do I create the user to grant access to table please?

Thanks

    Mike,

This is the Cloudera Manager list. This question should be in either CDH
user, or the Apache HBase mailing list.

    Check out this documentation:
    http://hbase.apache.org/book/hbase.accesscontrol.configuration.html
