FAQ
Hi,
is it possible to install cloudera manager on my existing cluster? I'd like
to install only agents that would allow Cloudera Manager server to manage
those other hosts.

I'm using Cloudera Manager Free Edition version 3.7.x

Thanks for any responses on my question.

Regards
Marcin

    Hi Marcin,

There's no automated path to do what you're doing. My recommendation would
be to turn off the existing cluster services and then install CM. You can
then make CM's configuration for Hadoop match what you previously had (the
data directories are the most important here).

    Cheers,
