When running a query i am always receiving the following info messages:

What exactly does this mean?


Backend 7:No block index for hdfs://hadoop-master.mycompany.com:8020/user/root/rails/archive/product/2013/01/01/part-r-00000.lzo after offset: 117062559
No block index for hdfs://hadoop-master.mycompany.com:8020/user/root/rails/archive/product/2013/01/09/part-r-00000.lzo after offset: 131028923
No block index for hdfs://hadoop-master.mycompany.com:8020/user/root/rails/archive/product/2013/01/05/part-r-00000.lzo after offset: 123659610

    Seems like you're hitting this bug:

    https://issues.cloudera.org/browse/IMPALA-298

    It'll be fixed in the next release.
