Hi All

I recently installed Impala 0.7.1 to try it out using cloudera manager free
edition. I issued a describe table and got the following error. Can anyone
give me pointers to why?

    Hello,

Is this running on a cluster, or in pseudo-distributed mode?
Can you provide the output of "show create table <table_name>" from hive?
Can you please attach the logfile for the impalad you are connecting to? It
    should be located at /var/log/impalad/impalad.INFO

    Thanks,
    Miklos
