FAQ
Hello

I've noticed that CentOS 4.8 is still carried by the mirror system.
Shouldn't it be retired , given that 4.9 is available for ages ( and
that it will also be retired in less than 3 months ) ?

4.9 is a simlink to 4.8 since upstream did not respin media. Since we
needed the 4.8 media, we also needed the 4.8 os tree for installs. That
meant that we just added the 4.9 (and newer) RPMs to the updates directory.

4.8 and 4.9 will go to the vault together.
