FAQ
Starting Monday, the IP for the Netriplex CentOS mirror will be changing
(New hardware). The existing machine and IP will remain up for a few weeks
to ensure everything goes smoothly. The DNS entry
(centos.mirror.netriplex.com) will stay, and point to the new IP as soon as
DNS updates on Monday.

The new IP for the mirror is: 66.219.25.35 and rsyncs will be pulling from
66.219.25.34.

Uplink stays the same at 1gig, as does http/ftp/rsync access, and DVDs
(pulled 6x/day from kernel.org)

    Hi

Thanks for the notification. There is no need to inform Master Mirror
Maintainer to update IP address of a mirror unless the host name
(centos.mirror.netriplex.com in your case) of mirror is enough to
    identify the correct mirror.

CentOS Mirror Monitoring System List it's host name, not the IP address.

Then that should failover seamlessly, we only store the hostname at the
    moment.

    Thanks for the notice, though.
