Hi,

I'm currently using 7.0.3
What standard or at least compatible ways to we have to store large
objects
(in terms of the language only) ?

Should I wait until 7.1 ?
Is TOAST compatible (e.g. with Oracle)?
Is TOAST transparent to the user (Will it automatically remove the 8k
limit,
or does every field (e.g. TEXT) have to be declared large)
Will there be BLOBs like in mySQL or Oracle(without the 1BLOB per table
limit) ?

TIA
cu
