FAQ
Hi Everyone,

rconsole is a module I recently open sourced that extends the console
module with some additional features.
It was featured on DailyJS the other day
http://dailyjs.com/2012/05/09/node-roundup/

A new method `console.set` lets you configure the module.

- `stderr` -- use stderr (default: true)
- `stdout` -- use stdout (default: false)
- `syslog` -- use syslog bindings (default: true)
- `facility` -- the facility that syslog uses (default: user)
- `title` -- the title of the process (syslog, default: node)
- `showLine` -- add line numbers (default: true)
- `showFile` -- add file names (default: true)
- `showTime` -- add timestamps (default: true)
- `syslogHashTags` -- append hashtags to syslogs (default: false)
- `highestLevel` -- limit the display based on severity (default: debug)
- `showTags` -- add tags with colors to stderr/stdout (default: true)

So if you are running your app in production, you dont have to worry
about piping to a log file, just configure rconsole to turn
stderr/stdout off and syslog will take care of formatting and rotating
your logs, etc. https://github.com/tblobaum/rconsole
