A big limitation would probably be memory. Even if you were to port the runtime to run on arduino (right now Go requires some sort of OS, it can't run on bare metal) you might have trouble giving each of your goroutines 2k bytes of stack space.

Do you have a specific model/problem you're targeting? I've had great success on raspberry pi if all you want is digital IO pins.
