FAQ
What about C.GoBytes() ?

// C pointer, length to Go []byte
func C.GoBytes(unsafe.Pointer, C.int) []byte

It is like C.GoStringN, but returns a byte slice, which underlying array is
a copy of the array in C world.

     return C.GoBytes(w.cData, w.cLen)
