Let's say "something human-readable" (I don't consider
3.5k lines of lexer log -for a 4 lines file- to be human-readable).

I'm not suggesting to change anything, I'm just saying I was
expecting something different and I wanted to be sure that I
was using the flag correctly.

If this is how's supposed to look, that's fine : )

Take a nice little hello world program

package main

func main() {
println("Hello world!")

Run go build with the "debug lexer" flag

go build -gcflags -x hello.go

The output: more than 3500 lines that mostly look like this:
./hello.go:2 lex: TOKEN ')'
lex: implicit semi
lex: func FUNC
./hello.go:2 lex: TOKEN '@'
lex: string literal
./hello.go:2 lex: TOKEN '.'
lex: racewriterange NAME
./hello.go:2 lex: TOKEN '('
./hello.go:2 lex: TOKEN '@'
lex: string literal
./hello.go:2 lex: TOKEN '.'
lex: addr·1 NAME
lex: uintptr NAME
./hello.go:2 lex: TOKEN ','
./hello.go:2 lex: TOKEN '@'
lex: string literal
./hello.go:2 lex: TOKEN '.'
lex: size·2 NAME
lex: uintptr NAME
./hello.go:2 lex: TOKEN ')'

Is this expected? Am I using the flag wrong?
What did you expect to see instead?
