FAQ
Hi Daniel,

looks like you are trying to monitor remote destination.
Have you registered and started agent, have you created
the job with destination pointed to the remote server.

I was able to monitor local files appearance on database
server but when I changed destination to point to the other server
I got "Launching external job failed: Invalid username or password"
even I set agent password and scheduler agent was registered in database

I am testing out the new filewatcher functionality in 11gR2. However, I
cannot seem to get it to work and the dba_scheduler* views are reporting
that it is succeeding, but nothing is being written to the table.

The steps I am following are at
http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/11g/SchedulerEnhancements_11gR2.php#file_watcher

I've installed the scheduler agent and it is running. The only entries in
$ORACLE_HOME/data/agent.log (thanks for the obvious location and file name
Oracle!) are related to start/stop

appreciated
