FAQ
The process reads and writes data to tables in the third tier database.
Only the updates are slow. This did not occur back before we had the
second tier database and before the third tier was upgraded from 8.1.7
to 9.2 (Oracle Financials).

Thanks!
Ron

Ron.
Was this ever a "fast" method of inserting data? There are a lot of =3D
factors to consider with the work around you have created. The speed of
=3D the network at the time you are sending the data, the activity on =
the
=3D different boxes, the activity on the database. How much free memory =
do
you =3D have in the middle server? If you are sending data through a
dblink I =3D don't think the receiving database does much with it except
use memory or =3D temp space and then passes it on to the next link and
finally to the =3D table.=3D20 That is the method you are doing is't =
it. Or
is it getting loaded into a =3D table in the middle server and then
select...insert._at_last server?
