FAQ
try this:

select a.file_name, a.tablespace_name, b.creation_time
from dba_data_files a, v$datafile b
where a.file_name = b.name

should give the time for the first file added to the tablespace, translates
to
the tablespace creation time.

someone might have a better idea, I guess.

Is the creation date/time for a tablespace stored within the DB?
If so, where?
