FAQ
Can you go to the Home page in CM and see if there are any configuration
errors? If there are there should be red square next to service name with
count of errors.

We just recently upgraded to CM5.0.1 and CDH5.0.1 cannot get Hue to start.
The property, Hue Service Advanced Configuration Snippet (Safety Valve) for
hue_safety_valve.ini, is set to:

[desktop]
[[database]]
engine=postgresql_psycopg2
host=localhost
port=7432
user=<userid>
password=<password>
name=hue

We are getting this error:

Command failed to start:
com.cloudera.cmf.service.DaemonRoleHandler$ProcessSupplierException:
com.cloudera.cmf.service.config.ConfigGenException: Unable to parse XML
safety valve

Does anyone have any information that can help?

Thanks,
Ben
