Hi all,
I am using CDH 5.0.0 with HBase 0.96.1.1-hadoop2.
I am trying to collect some statistics for read and write requests for
HBase, but I am unable to get the exact count issued by my application
because of the continuous read requests from the Canary Tests.
I have tried disabling it in the following ways
1. Modifying the Service Wide configuration provided in Cloudera Manager
to disable the Canary test.
2. Modified the Service Wide configuration to exclude specific table from
Canary Tests being performed.
3. Increased the Canary Interval at the Region Server level to a large
value.
None of the above methods helped me to get rid of Canary Tests.
Just wanted to know what is the exact way to completely get rid of Canary
Tests so that I can get exact statistics for my read operations..?
