FAQ
I fixed the issue.

I changed my clouder-cdh4.repo to have the following contents.
[cloudera-cdh4]
name=Cloudera's Distribution for Hadoop, Version 4.3.0
baseurl=http://archive.cloudera.com/cdh4/redhat/6/x86_64/cdh/4.3.0/

Then during install, i specify custom repository and point it to
http://archive.cloudera.com/cdh4/redhat/6/x86_64/cdh/4.3.0/. Then click add
button and then it successfully adds it as a valid repository.
Thanks.

Can you check the repo files on your cluster hosts to see if they are
pointing to http://archive.cloudera.com/cdh4/redhat/6/x86_64/cdh/4/ or
http://archive.cloudera.com/cdh4/redhat/6/x86_64/cdh/4.5.0/? If so,
you'll have to delete them and refresh cache and then try to install 4.3
again from CM.

Hi.

The repository I'm specifying is
http://archive.cloudera.com/cdh4/redhat/6/x86_64/cdh/4.3.0/.

I click the add button but nothing happens. Is this repository not valid ?
Thanks.

Hi Julio,

If you specify a valid repository for an old version, then it will show
up as an option below. Be sure to click the Add button. Did you select the
option for CDH 4.3.0 (it should be a radio button)?

Thanks,
Darren

I'm trying to install CDH 4.3.0. Is it possible to use the latest
Cloudera Manager (Free Edition) but yet install cdh 4.3.0 ?

I point to customer repository from cloudera manager and put in:
http://archive.cloudera.com/cdh4/redhat/6/x86_64/cdh/4.3.0/ and
proceed with install but seems to completely ignore this and install 4.5.0
? How can I install 4.3.0 ?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Julio.
