Can you run 'install --help' and 'which install' and 'rpm -qf $(which
install)' and 'lsb_release -a' for us? Looks like you've got a bizarre
version of install. We'd like to figure out what's going on there.

On my CentOS 6.4 machine, I see:

$lsb_release -a
LSB Version:
Distributor ID: CentOS
Description: CentOS release 6.4 (Final)
Release: 6.4
Codename: Final

$install --version
install (GNU coreutils) 8.4

$rpm -qf $(which install)

Anyone hit this before?

Running the Cloudera Manager Cluster Installer on RHEL6; I'm getting an
installation failure stating - is an invalid option

*validating format of repository file
/tmp/scm_prepare_node.WLKchwjq/repos/rhel6/cdh-solr.repo *
*installing repository file
/tmp/scm_prepare_node.WLKchwjq/repos/rhel6/cdh-solr.repo *
*install: invalid option -- '-' *
*usage: install [-bCcpSsv] [-B suffix] [-f flags] [-g group] [-m mode] *
*[-o owner] file1 file2 *
*install [-bCcpSsv] [-B suffix] [-f flags] [-g group] [-m mode] *

Looking at the /tmp/scm_prepare_node/ sh file (nothing really seems to be
wrong there)

* echo installing repository file $repo*
* $SUDO install -m 644 --backup=numbered "$repo" "$REPO_DEST"/*
* fail_or_continue $? repository file $repo could not be installed*

And Running that /tmp sh file manually from the command line, It does
successfully get past that line.
