Revert Cloudera Enterprise Manager to free edition
Nov 16, 2012 at 9:47 am
Has anyone undergone going from enterprise to free?
I'm having difficulty isolating where it decided this and getting back
without a full reinstall (which would be painful)...
: Never mind - I found the relevant rows in the configs tabel in postgres and things are running as expected... For future reference for others check the config_containers table for the scm config id and then delete from configs where the config_container_id is the id previously found. James
: Hi James, I'm glad it worked for you, but note that deleting the licence from the database only works cleanly if you have previously deleted the enterprise-only 'mgmt' service from CM as well. Otherwise the server will fail to start. --phil
