Do you know which service on your server is using port 80? 'netstat -anp |
grep 80' will tell you that.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
I'm very new to Cloudera and Hadoop . Could you please tell me as to where
I can find the logs ?
Also, when I give the start command(service cloudera-scm-server start ),
it says that "Starting cloudera-scm-server: * cloudera-scm-server started"
. However, when I try to load the console in the browser a connection time
out happens.
Thanks,

It says connection reset.
Also when I try to access the postgresql to change in db, I'm not able
to access the database.
I get the following error.
psql: could not connect to server: No such file or directory
Is the server running locally and accepting
connections on Unix domain socket "/var/run/postgresql/.s.PGSQL.**
5432"?
Can I configure msql as external db ? I'm familiar with msql database
more than postgresql.
Thanks,
