FAQ
Julian,

Look to the ‘Description’ next to ‘Enable Oozie Server web console’ in CM 4:

If true, enables the Oozie Server web console. ExtJS 2.2 must be installed
in /usr/lib/oozie/libext on the same host as the Oozie Server. (For CDH3,
put ext-2.2.zip in that directory. For CDH4, the zip archive must be
extracted.)

You need to extract the zip in that directory.

Hope this helps,

Hi,

I've just installed Oozie via CM4 and want to setup the web console.

I've put ext-2.2.zip in /usr/lib/oozie/libext as described in all the doc.

At first I tried following the procedure described in the oozie quick-start
guide using oozie-setup.sh.

There is no such file in my oozie install, though, in fact, find does not
find it anywhere on the machine.

Then I found out about setting the Web Console "true" from cm
configuration. This however does not work, either.

Oozie Version: 3.1.3+155 from CDH4
