Looking at a live version of this at
    http://uk.php.net/manual/en/function.setlocale.php and the Warning and
    Tip boxes are different widths.

I'd suggest making the margins consistent.

    Good point.
Maybe the tip boxes should have an icon as well?

Yes, lets to it ! - we clone the CSS we used for the Warning, apply it
to the Tip box and change the icon.

I'm off to find a nice icon :-)

    Hi Paul,

Nice work on the warnings! What do you think about aligning the 'Warning' heading on the left?

Regarding icons, I think that Hannes was using an icon set before. It was 'Tango' if I'm not mistaken:

    http://tango.freedesktop.org/Tango_Icon_Library

I like the idea of using an icon library as it maintains a consistent look and feel. Personally, I prefer the previous warning graphic over the new one. Maybe we should stick with Tango?

Yup. And I must say that the tango icon looks a lot better then the new one imo.

Where did the frontpage icons come from again?
I think we discussed it before about using a consistent icon toolkit,
rather then blending in various things.

The front page icons are from a set called 'icon sweets 2', but they are modified. The originals are monochromatic. I think Tango is still a good choice for the manual.

I don't like Tango at all. It looks like 1980's Famfam style. With a
modern design we should be looking to have modern icons else it just
    won't look right at all.

You can use www.iconfinder.com and select your icon. Most of these are
just amalgamations of icon sets like Tango and Icon Sweets.

There's plenty to choose from with the same styles.

    Paul.
